Busy Day!
Today was a very busy day as students got to visit the Mustang Market, shopt at the Penguin Patch, and students got to have our extra whole school recess reward from the Mustang Stampede Fundraiser! It was lots of fun with lots of excitement all around. We were also so excited honor our November group of students with our Principals' Pride Club lunch. As always, our principals served the students their delicous Olive Garden lunch provided by PTO. The students were invited by their teacher because they have done a great job of following the Mustang Way. We want these students to know how much we appreciate the effort they put forth to make good choices. Way to go to - Emily F., Kennedy H., Danniqa K., Andrea P., Ivan I., Sierra B., Elena M., Yelyzaveta K., Milie F., Jonathan W., Lucero B., Bella A., Chenbing L., Mateo L., Alaina W., Zane W., Ryker W., and Kiara W.

Holiday Fun
This year we are going to have five very festive days leading up to winter break. Please check out this link to join in the holiday fun with our cheery spirit days. These spirit days will culminate with our Holiday Assembly on Friday, December 20. This assembly will have some festive tunes and also include our principals getting sprayed with silly string by the students who earned the opportunity through the Mustang Stampede. Those students raised the most money in their grade level. They are Henry L., Maisie D., Lincoln E., Kai B., Brecken M., and Gianna M.!

Penguin Patch Holiday Store
The PTO's holiday shopping opportunity has arrived. Each Wednesday in December, students may visit the Penguin Patch store in the library to purchase small gifts for their family and friends. Students should have brought home a budgeting envelope. Please take a few moments and help your child determine who they should buy for and an estimate of what they should spend for each person. If you want to shop with them ahead of time, click here for a slideshow of all of the items. Do you like helping kids shop? We are still looking for volunteers, click here if you would like to sign up to help.

A Night at the North Pole PTO is hosting a free family event on Friday, December 13 from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. Students must attend with an adult chaperone. We will have a few different stations including showing a few different holiday classic movies in the cafeteria, some simple crafts, and a photo opportunity with Santa sponsored by Realife Photography. Families will get one complimentary printed picture and may choose to purchase more. PTO will also be selling low cost concessions to enjoy while watching the holiday classics. Be sure to bring a blanket or camp chair to sit on in the cafeteria. If you are interested in helping at the event, please email ssvmustangspto@gmail.com to let us know. |
